Sanjay Jain is proprietor, taster, blender and owner of tea brand ‘Barumal Tea’. He joined family business of tea way back in 1989.A post graduate in commerce, he wrote his dissertation on ‘Tea industry in Doon Valley, a comparative study ‘ to earn his master’s degree from university of Garhwal, Shrinagar in 1988. During this period he had an opportunity to study the Tea industry in Assam, West Bengal and Southern India extensively. This study brought him great exposure and learning of tea. Born and brought up in prinstine Doon valley , he developed a  passion for nature and conservation of environment. To him tea is a way of life and not merely a business.

The house of Barumal Tea is named and styled as ‘Barumal Jainprakash Jain’ a business house established in 1890.
